Hey friend! I’m Abbie! I’m a Jesus lover, hair enthusiast, and someone who believes deeply in making people feel valued and cared for. I’ve always loved the beauty world, but even more than that, I love people. I love good conversations, meaningful moments, and creating a place where you can breathe a little deeper and feel a little lighter. When I am not behind the chair, you can usually find me singing. I serve as a worship leader at my church, and music is one of the sweetest ways God speaks to my heart.
Doing hair is one of my absolute favorite things, and not just because I enjoy the creativity of it. I love getting to connect with the people God places in my chair. I love being part of your milestones and everyday moments. I love celebrating who you are and helping you feel beautiful, confident, and encouraged. My hope is that every appointment feels like a visit with a friend who genuinely cares about you.
Our Mission
New Creation Salon is more than a place for beauty. It is a space where something deeper can happen, something that goes beyond what you see in the mirror. Everything here is built on the truth found in 2 Corinthians 5:17. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old is gone and the new has come. This verse is the heartbeat behind everything we do.
The mission of New Creation Salon is to help each person who walks through the door see and celebrate who God created them to be. Every color, every word, and every detail has been shaped with intention. The goal is to create an atmosphere filled with warmth, encouragement, and excellence. Whether you are coming in for a simple haircut or a full color transformation, the hope is that you leave not only looking renewed but also feeling seen, valued, and loved.
The Space
New Creation Salon is located outside of Mendon, Illinois, inside a cozy and welcoming space that has served the community for many years. From the moment you step through the door, the goal is for you to feel completely at ease. You will be greeted with a warm hello and the kind of kindness that feels like a soft, comfortable blanket. The salon has been thoughtfully designed to feel peaceful, inviting, and uplifting.
I work intentionally to create an environment where you feel safe to be yourself, where conversations flow naturally, and where you feel cared for long before the service even begins. The hope is that you walk out feeling refreshed, lifted up, cherished, and encouraged. Most of all, I want you to leave ready to celebrate who God created you to be.
